CE-LAB prüft
KFZ-Elektronikkomponeten
Der Einsatz der Elektronik birgt aber
auch zusätzliche Risiken. Neben der
Zuverlässigkeit ist die Sicherstellung
der Elektromagnetischen Verträglich-
keit (EMV) eine wesentliche Aufgabe
im Entwicklungsprozess. Dabei geht es
um die ungewollte Abstrahlung von
hochfrequenten Störungen aus den
Baugruppen und die Störfestigkeit der
Geräte im KFZ-typischen Umfeld.
Die CE-LAB GmbH betreibt in Ilmenau
ein von der DAkkS nach EN/ISO 17025
akkreditiertes und vom Kraftfahrtbun-
desamt (KBA) benanntes Prüflabor
zum Nachweis der EMV-Eigenschaften
von KFZ und deren Komponenten. Auf
einer Laborfläche von 1.000 Quadrat-
metern können EMV-Prüfungen nach
EU-Richtlinien, OEM-Spezifikationen
sowie Entstörmaßnahmen durchge-
führt werden. Damit kann die CE-LAB
GmbH Prüfungen für das Prüfgebiet
(
Elektrik/Elektronik) mit den Prüfum-
fängen Elektromagnetische Verträg-
lichkeit (EMV) und Fahrzeugsicherheit
nach folgenden Prüfverfahren an-
bieten:
EU-Richtlinie 72/245/EWG (KFZ)
EU-Richtlinie 2009/64/EG (lof)
EU-Richtlinie 97/24/EG (Kap. 8)
UN-ECE-Regel R10 (KFZ-EUB)
UN-ECE-Regel R100 (E-KFZ)
EMV-Richtlinie 2004/108/EG
Die CE-LAB GmbH betreut Hersteller
bei der Durchführung von Typgeneh-
migungsverfahren für die e1/E1-Kenn-
zeichnung gemäß oben genannter
Richtlinien.

sierten Entwicklern offen steht.
Testing of electronic
components
Nevertheless, the use of electronics
also poses risks. Apart from reliabili-
ty, ensuring electromagnetic compat-
ibility (EMC) is a fundamental task of
the development process. One of the
objectives is to reduce undesirable
high frequency emissions from sub-
assemblies and interference resist-
ance of the equipment in a surround-
ing typical for vehicles.
CE-LAB operates a test laboratory in
Ilmenau for the detection of vehicle
EMC characteristics and their compo-
nents, which is accredited by DATech
and the Federal Motor Transport
Authority (Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt) ac-
cording to EN/ISO 17025. In a lab
area of 1000 sqm, EMC tests accord-
ing to EU guide lines, OEM specifica-
tions as well as fault clearances can
be accomplished. CE-LAB supervises
manufacturers with reference to the
implementation of type-approval
procedures for the e1/E1 qualifica-
tion, in accordance with the above-
mentioned standards. Customers in-
clude developers of electronic com-
ponents for OEMs or the aftermarket.
The company also actively partici-
pates in the development of EMC
norms through collaboration in spe-
cialist committees and as a result is
able to predict and then pre-emptive-
ly react to future requirements.
CE-LAB GmbH has also initiated an
EMC work group, within the scope of
the VDE (Association for Electrical
Electronic & Information Technolo-
gies) Thuringia and is open to all in-
terested developers.
